When you measure the window opening for your blinds clearly indicate which measurement is the width and which is the height. It is easy mix these measurements up! Always measure the width first, then height.

Take great care when you clean real wood blinds. Washing the blind isn't recommended as they could get ruined. Remember that, although the wood is sealed, water or even excessive dampness may cause warpage or discoloration of the slats.

The paint surface of these sorts of blinds slats is quite smooth so therefore dust is easily brushed off if they are cleaned at regular intervals.

Spice up the colder months with some vibrant spicy tones that are available for many different types of blinds. Golden colours can help create a warm glow in any room whilst sumptuous reds give a more homely traditional feel.
